Prime Minister meets with representatives of civil society organizations
Several members of the Libyan Organization for Information Technology and Telecommunications attended the joint meeting of the Prime Minister of the Libyan National Unity Government, Mr. Abdul Hamid Al-Dabaiba, with representatives of civil society institutions from various parts of the country, on Saturday, July 31, at the Corinthia Hotel in Tripoli. This meeting was attended by the Minister of Social Affairs, the Minister of Youth, the Minister of Women’s Affairs, and the Director of the Foreign Affairs Department of the Council of Ministers, and a number of files related to the work of civil society organizations and their role at the current stage were discussed.
The meeting also discussed the amended regulations from the regulations issued by Resolution No. 286 of 2019, regulating the work of civil society organizations, in addition to many discussions that took place for hours online and through the audio social networking applications Clubhouse. A legal and advisory team from the organization is working to propose amendments to the currently proposed draft regulations.
