The Wikimedia Libya community, in partnership with the Libyan Technology Foundation, aimed to launch a pioneering program for editing on Arabic Wikipedia from September 1 to September 5 in Tripoli.

Program Objectives:

1. Train editors on Wikipedia.
2. Expand efforts in Tripoli and nearby cities.
3. Conduct future training activities on Wikipedia in Tripoli.
4. Enhance Arabic content on Wikipedia.

Program Content:

• Theoretical Training: General introduction to Wikipedia, its pillars, and sister projects.
• Practical Training: How to edit articles, add sources, and share this knowledge with others.

Program Outcomes:

1. Add general articles to Arabic Wikipedia.
2. Increase the number of Libyan Wikipedians.
3. Build a community of Libyan Wikimedians interested in voluntary work.
4. Establish a Wikimedia Libya community.

This partnership seeks to unify efforts and work together to achieve our shared goals of spreading awareness about free knowledge in Libya.
