Participation of LTF in a Dialogue with Stakeholders in the Libyan Telecommunications Sector
The Libyan Technology Foundation commends the constructive technical dialogue and discussions currently taking place among various stakeholders in the Libyan telecommunications sector. Participants in this dialogue include representatives from:
The companies of the Libyan Post, Telecommunications and Information Technology Holding Group, the senior management of telecommunications, the High Advisory Committee, the General Authority for Telecommunications and Informatics, labor unions, a number of consulting firms, and foreign experts — in addition to the participation of the Libyan Technology Foundation as a component of the technical civil society.
This state of dialogue represents a positive and healthy phenomenon that reflects a growing awareness of the importance of cooperation and mutual understanding among all parties, based on a shared foundation that aims to advance telecommunications, technology, and informatics in Libya in the interest of the nation.
The Foundation affirms that the continuation of these sessions and technical workshops — conducted in an atmosphere of mutual respect, professionalism, and complementarity of roles and responsibilities, coupled with a sincere intention for reform and progress — will pave the way for practical outcomes that serve the interests of the nation, its citizens, and the future of national companies.
