Libyan Technology Foundation Strengthens Partnership with the Civil Society Commission to Support Digital Transformation
As part of its commitment to supporting digital transformation and enhancing the working environment of civil society organizations in Libya, the Libyan Technology Foundation held a meeting with the Civil Society Commission under the Presidential Council to explore avenues for joint cooperation and strengthen institutional partnerships in the fields of digital transformation and organizational development.
During the meeting, both parties discussed ways to support civil society organizations by developing their digital tools and enhancing their efficiency in line with modern requirements.
The Libyan Technology Foundation also presented its activities and initiatives in the field of digital transformation, along with its work reports for 2025 and 2026, and its annual plan for 2026. The plan focuses on implementing programs and projects aimed at developing the technical infrastructure of civil society organizations and strengthening their capacities in digital management and institutional governance.
The Foundation emphasized its commitment to building effective partnerships with national entities, contributing to empowering civil society organizations, improving their efficiency, and enhancing their role in supporting sustainable development.
The meeting also included discussions on several joint initiatives and programs aimed at raising awareness of the importance of digital transformation and qualifying young professionals, thereby enhancing the readiness of the civil sector to keep pace with modern technological developments.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Libyan Technology Foundation stressed the importance of continued coordination and cooperation with the Civil Society Commission to reinforce the principles of e-governance, enhance transparency, and build a more effective and impactful civil sector in Libya.
