The Libyan Technology Foundation celebrated its sixth anniversary in a gathering that brought together the Foundation’s team, partners, and supporters, reflecting on six years of development, projects, and milestones that have shaped its institutional journey.

The event was opened and moderated by Mr. Hamed Al-Houni, Member of LTF’s Board of Directors, and began with remarks by Mr. Al-Aref Al-Qajiji, Chairman of the Board of Trustees. This was followed by an address from Mr. Amin Saleh, Chairman of the Board of Directors, as well as contributions from Board members, project managers, and LTF members.

The discussions revisited key stages in the Foundation’s journey, the challenges it has faced, its achievements, and a number of significant moments that have influenced its development over the years.

Held under the general supervision of Mr. Muhannad Al-Hudairi, Executive Director of LTF, the anniversary also provided an opportunity to present the Foundation’s future objectives and short-term plans. The event included the recognition of several LTF employees and active contributors in appreciation of their efforts and contributions to the Foundation’s progress and institutional development.

The Foundation was also pleased to welcome Mr. Hashem Abuzer, Director of the Libyan Technology Foundation’s Benghazi Branch; Mr. Ahmed Al-Baybas, President of Momken Organization and President of the Civil Society Commission; and Mr. Rabee Al-Jawashi, President and Founder of Free Fields Organization for Mine Clearance, alongside a number of partners, friends, and supporters.

Beyond the formal programme, the gathering created a warm and welcoming space for attendees to celebrate, exchange conversations, and revisit moments from the Foundation’s previous years. LTF’s journey has not been shaped by projects alone, but also by the people, partnerships, and trust that have accompanied and contributed to its work.

Looking ahead, the Foundation seeks to make the next phase even more active and productive, through further initiatives and projects. While not every area of its work may be visible to the wider public, many of these efforts have a tangible impact on the institutions and communities with which LTF works.

The Foundation will continue to remain close to its stakeholders and to the different components of society, including civil society organizations, the public, the technical community, professional associations, and partners across both the public and private sectors.

LTF extends its appreciation to its team, partners, supporters, everyone who attended the occasion, and all those who have been part of its journey over the past six years.

Six years completed, and the journey continues.
