Libyan Technology Foundation was presented with an honorary shield in recognition of its support for Digital compass Magazine, which focuses on issues related to the legal regulation of the virtual world. The recognition took place on 29 September 2026 in Tripoli.

The honorary shield was presented on the sidelines of the signing ceremony for the Memorandum of Understanding and joint cooperation between the Libyan Technology Foundation and the Criminal Investigation Department – Information Technology Crimes Unit.
