Libyan Technology Foundation participates in the Partner2Connect (P2C) Digital Coalition, an initiative of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), as an organization that has submitted pledges supporting digital inclusion, capacity building, and the development of Libya’s technology ecosystem.

Partner2Connect brings together governments, international organizations, the private sector, civil society, and academia around measurable and trackable pledges aimed at expanding connectivity, empowering communities to use technology, and building productive and sustainable digital ecosystems.

Through this participation, LTF connects its local initiatives with an international framework focused on impact and results. Its areas of work include technology awareness, cybersecurity, information and Internet governance, and empowering young people to participate in discussions on digital policy.

The platform also provides LTF with opportunities to share implementation progress, exchange expertise with international organizations, showcase Libyan initiatives and approaches, and explore partnerships that could support their development or expansion.

In turn, LTF contributes its experience in delivering community-based programs and working with young people and local partners, bringing a Libyan perspective to international efforts toward more inclusive digital transformation.

Participation in Partner2Connect through pledges does not, in itself, constitute formal ITU membership or a funding award. Rather, it represents a publicly declared commitment to action, implementation monitoring, impact measurement, and sharing results with the international community.
