Six Editions of Internship Program: Beyond the Training Experience

A photograph may capture a closing moment, but the story behind it extends far beyond a single day.

With the sixth edition of Libyan Technology Foundation’s Internship Program concluding on Saturday, October 31, 2026, we look back on a journey spanning six editions. Throughout this journey, we have supported approximately 27 young people in an experience that brought together learning, hands-on practice, guidance from experienced professionals, and opportunities to develop skills relevant to Libya’s technology job market.

From the beginning, our goal was never for the experience to end when the training period was over. We wanted it to be a step forward in each trainee’s professional journey, providing opportunities to gain practical experience, exchange knowledge, and build professional and personal connections that continue beyond graduation.

Today, we remain in touch with graduates from different editions, sharing updates, following their professional journeys, and enjoying the warmth and familiarity of reunions and relationships that did not end on the final day of training.

For us, the value of the Internship Program is measured not only by the number of editions and graduates, but also by what remains after each cohort: knowledge, experiences, and people who have become part of the program’s continuing journey and community.

The conclusion of the sixth edition is an opportunity to reflect on this journey and recognize everyone who has been, and continues to be, part of it.
