As part of its commitment to advancing digital transformation and enhancing the operational environment of civil society organizations in Libya, the Libyan Technology Foundation held a meeting with the Civil Society Commission under the Presidential Council to explore prospects for joint cooperation and strengthen institutional partnerships in the fields of digital transformation and organizational development.

During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to support civil society organizations by improving their digital tools and enhancing their efficiency in line with modern technological demands.

The Libyan Technology Foundation also presented its key activities and initiatives in digital transformation, along with its performance reports for 2025 and 2026, and its annual plan for 2026. The plan focuses on implementing programs and projects aimed at developing the technical infrastructure of civil society organizations and strengthening their capacities in digital management and institutional governance.

The Foundation emphasized its commitment to building effective partnerships with national entities to empower civil society organizations, improve their performance, and reinforce their role in supporting sustainable development pathways.

The meeting also addressed several joint initiatives and programs aimed at raising awareness about the importance of digital transformation and qualifying young professionals, enhancing the readiness of the civil sector to keep pace with modern technological advancements.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Libyan Technology Foundation reaffirmed the importance of continued coordination and collaboration with the Civil Society Commission to promote e-governance principles, enhance transparency, and build a more effective and impactful civil sector in Libya.
