Spaces

Spaces project: Monthly sessions that bring together individuals interested in discussing key internet issues in Libya. The aim is to open the door for dialogue and the exchange of ideas regarding the challenges and opportunities the Libyan community faces in the digital space, which helps foster a shared understanding and contributes to finding appropriate solutions.

Project Objectives:

  1. Raising technical awareness: Increasing the community’s knowledge of technology and the internet and their benefits.
  2. Spreading awareness about the importance of the internet: Highlighting the role of the internet in various fields such as education and the economy.
  3. Defending digital rights: Promoting awareness of digital rights and protecting the freedom of access to information.
  4. Education and capacity building: Offering educational programs and workshops to build capacity and develop standards and policies.
  5. Knowledge sharing: Providing a platform to exchange ideas and solutions regarding internet-related challenges.

Session Content:

The sessions will address important technological topics in Libya and will be held in two formats:

  1. Listening sessions: Where speakers present specific topics, and participants engage through questions.
  2. Open discussions: Allowing everyone to participate and exchange ideas on specific topics.
