Letter of Commendation from the Alliance of Telecommunications Companies’ Trade Unions
In a step that reflects the importance of constructive institutional dialogue, the Libyan Technology Foundation values the commendation issued by the Alliance of Telecommunications Companies’ Trade Unions for its role in fostering a culture of community dialogue and strengthening collective bargaining pathways within the telecommunications sector, which is considered one of the vital pillars of the national economy and digital transformation in Libya.
Over the past period, the Foundation has worked to provide professional and safe spaces for dialogue, bringing together various stakeholders, including management bodies, trade unions, experts, and institutions. This has contributed to bridging viewpoints, enhancing mutual trust, and supporting consensus-based solutions founded on the rule of law and sound governance, away from escalation or exclusion.
We firmly believe that responsible collective bargaining and dialogue based on knowledge and data represent the optimal path to achieving institutional stability, protecting workers’ rights, ensuring service continuity, and enhancing the efficiency of the telecommunications sector in a manner that serves both citizens and the state alike. From this perspective, the Libyan Technology Foundation continues its role as an independent professional bridge connecting all parties and promoting the principles of transparency, participation, and accountability.
The Foundation renews its commitment to working with all partners to support a fair and stable regulatory environment and to contribute to building a modern, secure telecommunications sector capable of keeping pace with the requirements of comprehensive digital development in Libya.
