Third Advisory Committee Meeting of the Information Governance Forum:
Final Alignment and Approval of Strategic Tracks
At the conclusion of its preparatory meetings, the Advisory Committee of the Information Governance Forum held its third and final meeting, which resulted in full agreement on all organizational frameworks and thematic tracks of the forum. The meeting brought together a distinguished group of national representatives, including:
- Mr. Amin Saleh: Libyan Technology Foundation.
- Mr. Hamed Al-Houni: General Coordinator of the Information Governance Forum.
- Mr. Mohammed Gashout: Internet Society Association (ISOC).
- Mr. Rabie Al-Ragoubi: Independent Expert.
- Mr. Rafik Al-Janjan: General Authority for Communications and Informatics.
- Mr. Mounir Al-Adel: General Information Authority.
- Mr. Mohammed Al-Jaddaa: National Information Security and Safety Authority .
During this concluding session, participants reviewed all technical and logistical arrangements, and the forum’s final thematic tracks were approved following a comprehensive review of the proposed technical topics, ensuring alignment with Libya’s current digital landscape and strategic objectives. These meetings culminated in the development of a unified vision among all participating entities, as attendees collectively affirmed the readiness of the forum’s tracks and discussion topics, emphasizing the importance of this step in establishing a solid foundation for information governance policies. The Libyan Technology Foundation reaffirmed that this national alignment reflects its commitment to fostering an advanced digital environment and highlights its role as a hub for national expertise and talent working together to build a digital infrastructure based on international standards and best practices.
