Libyan Technology Foundation Participates in Dialogue Session for Local Non-Governmental Organizations in Libya
The Libyan Technology Foundation participated in the dialogue session for local non-governmental organizations, organized by The Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Libya and the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Libya, in partnership with the Civil Society Commission of the Presidential Council. The session brought together representatives of civil society organizations and institutions from across the country.
The session served as an important platform for exchanging perspectives and experiences on ways to enhance the effectiveness and sustainability of civil society organizations. Participants discussed several key topics, including institutional governance, financial management, human resources management, legal and regulatory procedures, as well as the main challenges facing national organizations in implementing their programs and initiatives.
Discussions also highlighted the importance of building stronger partnerships between civil society organizations, UN agencies, and international partners. Participants explored mechanisms for capacity building and the provision of technical and institutional support to strengthen the impact of these organizations and enhance their contribution to community development and sustainable growth.
The Libyan Technology Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to continued collaboration with national and international partners to support digital transformation, strengthen institutional capacities, and empower civil society organizations to leverage technology and innovation in achieving sustainable development and creating lasting impact across Libya.
