    Discussing a Memorandum of Understanding with General Authority for Telecommunications and informatics

    On Wednesday 08-02-2023, a meeting and discussion session was held at the headquarters of the General Authority for Telecommunications and informatics in Tripoli, for the purpose of discussing a draft memorandum of understanding between the two parties, submitted by our organization. 

    This session was attended by the Office Director  of the Chairman of the Authority and the directors of the relevant departments of the Authority, and the representatives of the Authority welcomed the members of the organization represented by : 

    • Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Organization and Director of the Policy Review Project. 
    • Member of the Board of Directors of the Organization and Project Manager of the Developer Summit and Technology Forum Project. 
    • Executive Director of the organization and Director of the Communications and Technology Report Project.  
    • Member of the Board of Directors of the organization. 
    • Project Manager of the Libyan Journal of Technology. 

    The Authority expressed its readiness to cooperate permanently with the Organization, within the framework of the public interest and in the service of citizens, in several areas, including: 

    • Spreading technical awareness in society and promoting digital culture. 
    • Bringing together the views of the Commission and state institutions in general and the public. 
    • Exchange of experiences, knowledge and consultations between the two parties. 

    The attendees discussed the draft items and expressed their opinions and observations on it, provided that some points are being redrafted by the Authority’s legal office. 

    We hope that this memorandum will be a prelude to cooperation that enhances the cohesion of state institutions, civil society institutions and Libyan society in various fields of technology.
