    | ,

Libyan Technology Foundation participates in the ICANN At-Large community as an accredited At-Large Structure (ALS), under application number 369, having received official accreditation on September 25, 2025. This membership provides an opportunity for LTF to contribute to discussions reflecting the interests of Internet end users within ICANN’s multistakeholder model.

The At-Large community enables organizations representing Internet user interests to participate in discussions on policies related to the Domain Name System (DNS) and the Internet’s unique identifiers, while raising issues that affect users and their ability to benefit from an open, secure, and reliable Internet.

Through its participation, LTF aims to bring the perspectives of Internet users and the technical community in Libya into relevant discussions, contribute to the activities of the African Regional At-Large Organization (AFRALO), and engage in consultations, working groups, and capacity-building initiatives related to Internet governance within ICANN’s scope.

LTF also seeks to bring the knowledge gained through this participation back to Libya by promoting Internet governance awareness, expanding opportunities for youth, experts, and civil society organizations to engage, and connecting local discussions with regional and international developments.

In turn, LTF brings to the At-Large community its experience in technology awareness, community engagement, and capacity building, alongside perspectives that reflect the needs of Internet users in Libya and emerging digital environments.

This participation contributes a community and end-user perspective and does not constitute official representation of the Libyan state within ICANN.
