Libyan Technology Foundation participated in the dialogue session for local non-governmental organizations, organized by the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and the UN Resident Coordinator in Libya, in partnership with the Civil Society Commission of the Presidential Council, and with broad participation from representatives of civil society institutions and organizations from various parts of the country.
The session formed an important platform for exchanging views and experiences on ways to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of civil society organizations, where participants discussed a number of key themes, including institutional governance, financial management, human resources management, and legal and regulatory procedures, in addition to the most prominent challenges facing national organizations in implementing their programs and initiatives.
The discussions also addressed the importance of building more effective partnerships between civil society organizations, UN agencies, and international partners, and developing capacity building and technical and institutional support programs in a way that contributes to enhancing the impact of these organizations and their role in serving society and sustainable development.
The Libyan Technology Foundation affirms its commitment to continue working and cooperating with various national and international partners to support digital transformation, enhance institutional capacities, and empower civil society institutions to employ technology and innovation to achieve a sustainable developmental impact in Libya.
