The General Scout and Guide Movement celebrates the National Technology Day in Tripoli
The General Scout and Guide Movement celebrated, this Monday, the activities of the National Technology Day, during a ceremony held at the Corinthia Hotel, under the generous sponsorship of the Libyan Technology Foundation, and within the framework of the partnership and joint cooperation between the two sides to enhance technical awareness and empower youth to keep pace with rapid digital developments.
The event was attended by Deputy General Commander, Leader Mahmoud Shamila, Tripoli Commissioner General, Leader Mukhtar Al-Shatshati, and members of the General Command, in addition to leaders of the Tripoli Commission and a number of those interested in technical and youth affairs.
- The ceremony included a panel discussion that dealt with the reality of technology in Libya and its future prospects in the Scout Movement, in which Leader Hamza Al-Mahmoudi, Commissioner of Information at the General Command, and Engineer Amin Saleh, Chairman of the Libyan Technology Foundation, participated, where they discussed the importance of digital transformation, its role in shaping the future, and the need to invest in building digital skills and promoting a culture of innovation and creativity.
- The event also included a number of artistic segments and visual presentations that reviewed the development of technology and its impact in various areas of life, in addition to highlighting inspiring models and experiences in the field of innovation and technology, which gave the occasion a distinctive interactive character that was well received by the attendees.
