Libyan Technology Foundation announces its commitments within the ITU’s Partner2Connect platform
As part of its commitment to supporting the digital transformation journey and enhancing Libya’s contribution to global digital initiatives, Libyan Technology Foundation announced the submission of its commitments within the Partner2Connect Digital Coalition platform of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
This commitment represents a pledge to the international community to contribute to building a more inclusive digital society, support initiatives that advance technical knowledge, empower talent, encourage innovation, and create sustainable spaces for collaboration and knowledge sharing in the fields of technology and digital transformation.
Through this pledge, the Foundation commits to supporting and implementing a group of national initiatives that contribute to promoting digital literacy, empowering the tech community, and encouraging participation and innovation, including:
National Information Technology Day
An initiative aimed at raising awareness about the importance of technology and its role in development, while highlighting innovation and digital solutions.
Libyan Youth Internet Governance Forum
An initiative focused on empowering youth in the tech sector, supporting their skill development, and enhancing their participation in building a knowledge-based digital future.
An initiative aimed at bringing together developers and tech enthusiasts in a space to exchange expertise and discuss modern trends in the world of software and development.
An initiative that fosters dialogue around information management, digital governance, and building information ecosystems that support the responsible and effective use of modern technologies.
These commitments reflect the Libyan Technology Foundation’s dedication to driving initiatives with sustainable impact, strengthening cooperation with international partners, and contributing to the creation of a national digital ecosystem that keeps pace with global developments and supports digital development goals.
